Recommend.
This musical is great. The vocal is fantastic and the story is rich. It uses music to link the life story of Bob Marley, displays his music life and the political background at that time in Jamaica. The songs are great and match the story nicely. The theatre seems to be building a show like "Ma MA Mia". Since both the story and the music are good, I can see this musical staying in the theatre for a long time.
It might be a bit confusing to audiences who do not know the history of Jamaica in 1970s. There are some projected scene of newspaper during the show showing the political environment. However, these projection flashed for less than a second that I did not catch what happened.
The two leading casts, Michael Duke and Gabrielle Brooks, have absolutely beautiful voice. Their sounds stayed strong and powerful through the whole show.
